Abstract :
The paper describes a pseudo-derivative feedback (PDF) controller design technique for second order plant models. Based on this algorithm, a PDF controller design method is developed for the control of high order plants using model reduction. An illustrative example is given to show the use of the method for different cases. The controller is very easy to design and investigations have shown that it is not very sensitive to changes in controller parameters
