  • Abstract
Based on the mathematical model of the Input-output, energy and environmental efficiency models for iron and steel enterprises had been set up and used for analyzing energy consumption and environmental load. Models clearly show the various factors affecting on energy and environmental efficiency. Further analysis showed that the use of residual heat and energy power generation technology, such as blast furnace TRT, CDQ, CCPP and pure blast furnace gas fired boiler etc., can effectively improve the energy and environmental efficiency.
