Abstract
With the development of B2B E-business especially the vertical search engine, enterprises are provided many conveniences and flexibilities for electronic trading. But it brings the search problem of information heterogeneity and the lack of instructional knowledge. This paper proposed the product knowledge base based on ontology. Firstly, we established the content standards with the classification levels and product attributes. Secondly the concept dictionary of the product is build with the assistance of domain experts. Finally, we achieved the product ontology with the OWL language. The knowledge base provided basic support for the rank of search engine of e-business and information extraction and processing.
