Abstract :
Historic block record the process of city development, it is an important part of modern city. However, historic block trends to be separated from modern city, such as Harbin Garden Street historic block. Utilizing Organic Order theory, this paper analyses the economic development direction of Harbin, characteristics of region and its values to the city´s future development. Eventually, Harbin Garden Street historic block is positioned as a creative industry area to link with the modern city organically.
