Abstract :
Lanzhou city is the well-known debris flow areas in the upper reaches of the Yellow River due to terrain steep and broken, a new very active tectonic movement, concentrated rainfall, and the unreasonable activities of human being. This paper analyze the debris flow trend of the valley areas in Lanzhou city based on the degree of development determined by debris flow morphology to build a model for the evaluation of debris flow, then integrated the entropy theory into the assessment model. Finally, the insufficiencies of assessment model have been pointed out.
