Abstract :
With the increasing level of urbanization, tourism planning in the small town is carried out in full swing throughout the country, which promoted the small town\´s rapid economic development. But there is a phenomenon of vague positioning and weak features in the small town tourism planning. In the light of the above phenomenon, this paper proposed a coping strategy - digging local elements of small towns, which emphasize on local natural scenery, climate characteristics, building and street, customs and culture, catering and handicrafts five aspects. And, based on the model of tourism planning of famous tourism town - Yabuli, this paper used the above mentioned strategy to analyze Yabuli\´s local elements. Guided by the aim "can enjoy, can goods, can entertain, can participate in", we integrated local elements with all aspects of Yabuli Town Tourism Planning and the study of practical application of which in small town\´s tourism planning. This article aims to emphasize that we should dig, present and integrate local history and culture in the small town\´s tourism planning, and focus on building a strong local humanity culture tour, starting to regain the unique charm of the small town tourism.
