Abstract :
This paper describes a continuous-time parameter estimation technique. This technique consists of designing two observers and to compare the observation bias due to parameter uncertainties. The comparison of both bias is used to estimate the parameter values. It comes out that the estimation problem can be linearized if the number of parameters to be identified is less than the number of measurements. Conditions under which this class of problem can be enlarged are discussed
