Abstract :
This paper illustrates some difficult aspects of mixed-signal CMOS integrated circuit design. Limitations coming from coupling between digital and analog blocks are discussed., and a simple method to simulate the effects coming from nonideal biasing of different chip regions is presented. Experimental results on test chips validate the proposed approach.
