Abstract
This paper presents a full wave method based on a PEEC (partial element equivalent circuit) state variable formulation for electromagnetic compatibility analysis of power converters using physical models of switching devices. The computation is carried out in time domain taking into account all the parasitic phenomena due to capacitive and inductive couplings between traces and planes and the nonlinear behavior of devices acting as switches.
