Abstract :
We adopt the standard BB84 protocol as the basic model of quantum key distribution (QKD) in amplitude damping channel and simulate BB84 QKD protocol on classical computer. The simulation results show that the key rate is higher by using binary reconciliation protocol than using cascade reconciliation protocol when the amplitude damping coefficient γ≤0.15, while cascade reconciliation protocol is better for γ>;0.15.
