  • Abstract
In a liberalized world, access to the information & technology is of vital importance. Industrial sector is obviously day by day moving into a higher gear. In this era of globalization industrial integration is felt more, this concept has initiate us to develop a modern and efficient method of monitoring and controlling data relay system for industry. In this paper the implementation of general purpose physical monitoring and controlling system is presented. Through this system the exact computing of goods & products can be achieved using infrared sensors as detection agent and computer as a monitoring and controlling device. This is a feasible and cost effective solution for counting device with obvious benefits for the industrial sector. The controlling agent is a prototype autodoor which opens and close according to the signal issued by the computer. The windows based software for monitoring provides easy interface and transparency to the user.
