Abstract :
Consideration of changes in the size of aerosol particles of, e.g., H2SO4 and other substances as well as the Kasten formula shows that the atmosphere and a particle form a linear dynamic system (LDS). The dynamics of LDS is described by simple linear differential equations. The Kasten formula is an asymptotic approximation of the solution of this equation at t=∞
