Abstract :
Clothing comfort is a state of satisfaction indicating physiological, psychological and physical balance among the person. Subjective experiment is rated an end-use performance test to collect the comfort sensation of wears. In this paper, 20 samples are chosen including 10 kinds of coolmax/cotton double-faced effect knitted fabrics for sportswear developed by Textile Institute of DongHua University and 10 kinds of knitted fabrics selected from the market for comparative analysis. Then subjective experiment with four processes rest, walking, running and rest is taken and questionnaire is designed to test 10 comfort properties of knitwear fabric including thermal, moisture, clinging, stifling, rough, soft, drape, prickle, tight and overall comfort. Through analysis of the overall evaluation, the 10 kinds of coolmax/cotton double-faced effect knitted fabric clothing have been proved to have good heat-moisture comfort in heavy sports. The other 9 kinds of subjective sensations are divided into heat-moisture sensation, tactile sensation and pressure sensation by cluster analysis. Based on the three classification criteria, the cluster results of the 20 kinds of clothing at the four different experimental stages are analyzed and the subjective comfort of the double-faced effect knitted fabrics are evaluated.
