Abstract :
In order to meet the demand for more efficient and flexible communication services from both PMR and PAMR users, ETSI has developed a new standard for digital trunked radio system named TETRA. In this review-based paper we have discussed about the basic services provided by TETRA system and its network architecture along with the description of basic modes on which this technology works.
