Abstract :
This paper discusses virtual private network (VPN) over multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) in a service provider´s network. MPLS VPN has recently been receiving much attention from industries and standards bodies as it enables service providers to provide IP-services with key benefits like traffic engineering, quality of service and optimal routing over a shared MPLS backbone. This paper will focus on the issues related to providing VPN services in an MPLS environment.
