Abstract :
In this paper a three phase four leg matrix converter is proposed to implement a 400Hz Aircraft Ground Power Supply unit. A parallel structure resonant controller is used to regulate the power supply output voltage providing very good tracking of the output voltage reference even in the presence of a non linear load. Simulations results and experimental validation from a 7.5KVA converter prototype are presented to validate the operation of the proposed converter.
