Abstract :
Weighting vectors with periodical structure, which are used in opportunistic beamforming (OBF) OFDM system, are generated to reduce the PAPR of the OFDM signal and the complexities of the tradition OBF-OFDM system simultaneously. The simulation results show that with less complexities, the throughput, both in maximum throughput scheduling scheme and the proportional fairness (PF) scheduling scheme, can be improved using the proposed scheme as comparison with the OFDM without OBF.
