Abstract :
This study aims to design objective-focused fast extensive reading (OFFER) to meet online writing needs for elementary students in web-based classroom. One fifth-grade class was selected from an elementary school in China for participation in this study. They averaged homogeneously into three groups by pretest score and followed three steps writing model in web-based classroom. Statistic analytical results indicated that there were significant differences on the quality of online writing with and without OFFER.
