Abstract :
IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) have the range and throughput needed to distribute AV around the home today. Wireless local area network implements wireless data networking using Ethernet type protocols. Many stations may wish to share the medium to send frames. IEEE 802.11 uses CSMA/CS-ACK to arbitrate access. Continued development built on proven MAC technology delivers even higher throughputs.
