Abstract :
A new control scheme of grid-side PWM converters for wind power generation systems, incorporating exact feedback linearization with sliding mode variable structure control strategy, is proposed in this paper. An affine nonlinear model of three phase voltage source PWM converter in the rotating frame d-q is obtained. The active and reactive power of the converter is decoupled using exact feedback linearization technique. The sliding-mode variable structure control algorithm is then applied for the decoupled converter. Finally, the simulation results show the presented scheme is effective.
