Abstract :
In GSM network, half-rate is a method of carrying traffic and an optimization technology of wireless network which can expand the capacity by reasonably adjusting the rate. This paper puts emphasis on theoretical study of the threshold from the perspective of the capacity, makes improvement on the model of communication. Based on such study and improvement, this paper analyzes the calculation method of the system capacity in different threshold and the setting of the optimal threshold.
