Abstract :
ATCA (Advanced Telecom and Computing Architecture) platform usage in simulated scenarios is limited to grand user (mobile operators, suppliers, development companies). By integrating the powerful ATCA in a device under test environment, we increase its potential and availability to the students for hand-on training and research. Several possible research directions are investigated.
