Abstract :
Data and information sharing is the basic project in the national scientific and technological communication platform construction, and traffic monitoring data sharing platform is a very important content in this and it plays a unique role in roads network management and control. Communication platform design and construction has achieved more and more attention in China since most of traffic monitoring systems belongs to different management departments, information of them can not be shared by common, even of one road. Now the design of traffic information sharing platform in China is still along the road of metadata centralized management and data decentralized storage. Under this model each monitoring system seems as an isolated information island and this phenomenon cannot be changed by gigantic investment unless change the framework of system. Communication platform deployment model related to the search efficiency and share results directly for mass traffic data with characteristics of space, distribution and heterogeneity. With the content of user groups to further expanding, to achieve real distributed shared model is needed. In this paper, by utilizing ideas and methods of system analysis and integration, with the help of SOA (service oriented architecture), we put forward an improved platform-designing scheme still based on internet as data transmission carrier and interoperability as database operation method. With this, we can realize information sharing of separated monitoring systems through Internet in technical.
