Abstract :
The latest technique of lowering synchronously ultra-large suspended steel cofferdam of Su Tong Yangtze River Highway Bridge under the computer control was presented. The mechanism and construction technology of lowering ultra-large suspended steel cofferdam was illustrated. Based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS, the whole construction process was simulated and further its result was compared with monitoring data. The result had shown: the FE result was consistent with monitoring data and the worst condition was the fourth condition that was water pumping in water level of +4.3 m. The FE result could reflect the force condition of the construction more exactly and had certain guiding significance.
