The Problems Paid Attention to the Development of Urban Agglomeration GIS in China

In the company wake of the quick urban development in China, the urban agglomeration region has been the core region that is the fullest of energy and potential in the economic development pattern of China. Moreover, sharing, cooperating and competing between the international urban agglomeration regions will decide a new global economic pattern. It is important to develop the urban agglomeration GIS for the continuable development of the urban agglomeration region. During the development of urban agglomeration GIS, attention must be paid to some problems, such as organization and management of urban agglomeration GIS, data quality and data criterion, data sharing and the principle employed during the development of urban agglomeration GIS, so that the application and study of GIS can be promoted between inter-organizations.
