Abstract :
This paper addresses a method for automating the process of generating statistical process control summaries for powder manufacturing in an epoxy molding compound for encapsulation (EME) plant by integrating the capabilities of WinSPC®, Microsoft® SQL Server database and Microsoft´s ActiveX® Data Objects (ADO). The system allows for not only real-time SPC analysis and reporting of daily production lots, but also monthly SPC analysis and reporting using a user-friendly graphical users interface.
