            Abstract :
A proto-type land cover mapping system, QUAD-LACC, has been developed to process archival Landsat Multispectral Scanner (MSS) imagery of the Great Lakes watershed. Its architecture has been designed to meet two key objectives, namely, spatially-detailed accuracy characterization and enhanced linkage between product generation and subsequent interpretation.
