Abstract :
ireless telemetry products have bee available for many years, ranging from industrial control to security, systems and domestic applications. Such products are typically based o proprietary designs operating i either licensed or licence-free radio bands. Collaborative ork i recent years has led to the birth of a ne standard for ireless telemetry systems, using a ad-hoc mesh net orking protocol called ZigBee. The signalling protocol is optimised for adaptive net ork control, here nodes come and go from the mesh. Thus the net ork is resilient to link interruptions and supports self-configuratio and self-repair. This paper describes a experimental telemetry tracking and control system, based o a semi-static ZigBee net ork hich is used to communicate and track mobile nodes.
