Abstract :
Some models are established by ANSYS in this paper. Finite-element analysis was used for these models, which include circular hole castellated columns with expansion ratio being 1.4 or 1.5, solid-web steel members without expansion. And then, buckling analysis for the models under axial compression is carried out. So the bearing capacity for compressive members are obtained and analyzed.
