Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the practical aspects of magnetic measurements for production, engineering and quality control. After a magnet or magnet assembly has been magnetized, a measurement may be required to determine if the level of the magnet is adequate for the end application. We look at various ways in which this is accomplished. The Hall effect Gaussmeter and the electronic integrating fluxmeter, and measurement techniques are described. Measurement of magnetising forces and hysteresis graphs are discussed
