Abstract
Modern sea-warfare is a typical complex adaptive system, it is important for research on the warfare system to measure whose complexity. Several measuring methods and the application of complexity metrics in recent years were introduced at first. Then some common features of the methods and the application were summarized, some key points needed to be noticed when we measured complexity were discussed. At last a new idea was put forward to measure the complexity of modern sea-warfare.
