Abstract :
A new iterative channel estimation scheme for V-BLAST MIMO-OFDM systems is proposed in this paper. The channel estimation consists of two parts. Firstly, we use pilot-symbol-aided (PSA) method to interpolate the channel, and get the initial channel estimation of the systems. Then, with Turbo iterative decoding, we feedback the information bits to the channel estimator and the EM algorithm is used for iterative channel estimation. The simulation results show that the channel estimation performance of the systems is improved greatly as the number of iterations increases.
