Abstract :
Analysis on the various risks faced on water supply system has increasingly become the focus these days. Based on the general definition of risk, the risk of water sources switch for urban water supply was defined and classified. The connotation and characteristics of the risk of water sources switch for urban water supply were discussed, and its functional expression was given. Then, based on the definition of risk management, the connotation as well as the process and the methods for risk management of water sources switch for urban water supply was expounded. Furthermore, the framework for water supply safety guard with water source switch was designed and its further development was prospected. The mathematical models for risk analysis are summarized.
