  • Abstract
    In order to facilitate the multi-dimension on-line analysis processing (MOLAP) on multi-dimension data warehouse and to support the port management decision, in this paper, we built the port production data cube with the port data, and then we stored the binary coded hierarchical dimension information with the dimension hierarchy storage tree. Based on that, this paper also proposed to create a dimension hierarchy aggregate cube with the dimension hierarchy aggregate technique. The query performance on multi-dimension port production data cube by dimension hierarchy aggregate cube was compared with the dynamic data cube (DDC), which was stored in array. The result shows that the dimension hierarchy aggregate cube can present the dimension hierarchy relation, and it also had a better query performance.
