Abstract :
To achieve the purpose of real-time current control in an active power filter (APF), a new adaptive discrete-time sliding mode control (SMC) strategy is proposed in this paper. The strategy incorporates adaptive parameter variations of the reaching law function, which thereby changes the reaching rate to the switching surface. This proposed method is essentially simple, robust, reliable and easy for DSP-based applications. There are also simulation results which have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the control strategy in this paper.
