Abstract
The channel estimation techniques for OFDM systems based on pilot-aided are investigated. In view of the contradiction of LS and MMSE estimators between performance and computational complexity, two simplified estimator for LS and MMSE were presented. The simulation results show that the simplified estimator algorithm has preferable performance and lower complexity. In addition, we compared the BER performance of the constant interpolation, linear interpolation, second order interpolation and time domain interpolation algorithms based on comb-type pilot. The simulation results show that the time domain interpolation performs the best among all channel interpolation algorithms.
