Abstract :
This work presents an exhaustive analysis of the main parameters used for radio resource management algorithms as call admission, congestion control and system monitoring, for a multilayer and multiservice UMTS environment. Macrocell and microcell scenarios have been studied both separately and jointly, and the variations on load factor, throughput and UL/DL transmitted powers when considering the jointly mixed scenario, have been carefully analyzed.
