Abstract :
In this paper, the drive system of the four-wheel-driven small electric vehicle was designed, without changing the dimension parameters of original vehicle. And the key components were calculated and select, such as the wheel motors and battery pack and so on. Then, the integrate layout chassis components were designed by concerning the effects that the positions of vertical axle and centroid had on the dynamic performance. A dynamic simulation model was established by ADVISOR on the basis of the above works, to simulate the dynamic performance of electric cars and to obtain the corresponding simulation results. The dynamic characteristics and power graph of the whole vehicle were drawn by using the results to analyze power performance. It proved that the design was effective and correct.
