Abstract
Our presentation is based on the experience we have gained throughout the industry on acquiring the measurement and feeding it back to the monitoring system. This is broken into the following segments: (1) introduction - why measure electrical parameters (current and voltage); (2) the development of the technology and overcoming the challenges of the trackside environment; (3) examples of applications and the results achieved.
