  • Abstract
Can we find a new method to analyze the high-new-technique ammunition´s reliability efficiently? Taking a certain ammunition as an example, we carried out an exploratory study on the feasibility of accelerated degradation test for ammunition. We analyzed the performance change of the wearing parts of the ammunition under long-term storage condition and its effect on the ammunition function. The data from the test experiment of the ammunition under long-term storage have verified the conclusion that the ammunition has the function degradation characteristic. By analyzing the performance data of the ammunition under temperature-accelerated stress, we demonstrated the accelerated ability of performance degradation. So accelerated degradation test for ammunition is feasible.
