Abstract
This article studied a novel Log-Periodic Dipole Antenna (LPDA) with distributed inductive load for size reduction. By adding a short circuit stub at top of the each element, the dimensions of the LPDA are reduced by nearly 50% compared to the conventional one. The impedance bandwidth of the presented antenna is nearly 122% (54~223MHz) (S11<;10dB), and this antenna is very suited for BROADCAST and TV applications.
