    The measuring technique of the synthesis electric field in the vicinity of the DC transmission lines becomes more and more important for the evaluation on the electromagnetic environment and the detection of the insulation faults, and the field mill is frequently used for the measurement of the DC electric field. The parameters of the field-mill affects its measuring accuracy, therefore in the paper the influence on the measurement are calculated and analyzed, and results indicate that a motor of 50 Hz, a rotating shutter of 0.001 m2 composed of six lobes is better for the measuring accuracy.
