Abstract :
A combined power control and data rate adjustment scheme using minimum mean square error (MMSE) multi-user receiver for multi-carrier code division multiple access (MCCDMA) system uplink is proposed. The proposed algorithm can guarantee target SIR´S while keeps transmit power of every subcarriers at the minimum level and faster convergence, resulting an optimal overall system performance. Computer simulation is performed to show that the proposed scheme is appropriate and the optimization algorithm is effective and correct. Simulation results show that, using the proposed algorithm, the capacity of MC-CDMA system and the speed of convergence outperform that of obtained using the traditional methods.
