Abstract :
The need to fault-tolerance in RFID systems is increasing with the increased use of this technology in critical domains such as real-time processing fields. Although many efforts have been made to make this technology more dependable, it is still unreliable. In this paper, we propose a complementary approach to existing ones. It consists of a probabilistic monitoring that detects failures of RFID system components and a verification process that refines the diagnosis process by finding the causes of the detected failures.
