Abstract
Nowadays enterprises are suspended on a high competition pressure. To resist on it there have been established high requirements concerning the production process. Some of these requirements as for example reliability, stability and productivity are given in order to achieve an optimization within an industrial process. To reach such an optimization within a production processes, high expectations in the agent based technologies have been supposed. On the one hand the application areas of agent-based technologies become more and more expanded. On the other hand is the tendency to form the man-machine interface more user friendly. This could be reached with the aid of intelligent tolls that allow an intuitive and simply designed interaction not only between human and machine but also between the machines and the machine and its control system. Such an intelligent toll could be represented by the variety of open possibilities in the area of the agent technology.
