Abstract
Recently, the growth of mobile devices has brought great attention to the development of mobile apps. On the other hand, cloud hosting services provide an appropriate platform for mobile app developers so as to lower the cost of hardware maintenance and management. Note that most of current mobile apps are developed with a single cloud hosting, resulting in a higher probability of service congestion or service interruption. In this work, we aim at alleviating the impacts of service congestion and service interruption with multiple clouds and a proxy. Empirical studies show that we can significantly improve user experience in terms of response time when service congestion or interruption occurs.
