Abstract :
The paper defined the Decision Support System(DSS), described the framework of it and gave a respective expatiation on the subsystems of database, model base, man-machine conversation and situation-evaluation. Grounded on that, its application in field of military command was presented: in Intelligent Decision Support System, DSS works together with Expert System; in Integrated Decision Support System, DSS works together with Neural Network. The DDS would simplify the command process and optimize its effectiveness, satisfying the demand of modern warfares.
