Abstract :
In Asia, rapid demand growth is expected in the mid and long-term perspectives. Resource development with renewable, fossil, or nuclear power will be required to meet such demand growth although dispersed energy resource development would play some part. Bulk power transmission systems should be developed to transmit the generation power to the supply area which are or are to be densely populated. The supply area systems should also be reinforced to catch up with the development of the areas. In rural area supply, electrification planning should also be an issue for consideration
