Abstract :
In this paper, the antenna location in distributed antenna system with hybrid user distribution is discussed. Instead of maximizing the cell ergodic rate, we focus on minimizing the expectation of squared distance applying selective transmission schemes. Using the weighted expectation of squared distance criterion (WESDC), the optimization problem of antenna location is proved to be convex when two types of users are uniformly distributed in different regions and closed form solution can be derived. With the measurement of energy efficiency (EE), the optimal transmission power of distributed antenna for the maximum EE is unique. Simulation results show that the EE obtained by WESDC is approximate to the EE using computer search.
