Abstract :
Our goal is to find a suitable BSS(Blind Source Separation) algorithm to separate the mixed radar signals when the sources are modulated with the same type such as carrier modulation and LFM. It is especially a difficult case if their modulation parameters are similar. In this paper, we select six BSS algorithms, FastICA, SOBI-RO, JADE, TFBSS, RADICAL and Kernel ICA to deal with this problem and obtain our experimental conclusion. Then we propose a novel method to improve the performance. The simulation results show that the method is effective to get better performance compared to the existing algorithms particularly in the low SNR cases.
